Sweeping Health Care Legislation Clears Senate Hurdle
Sweeping health care legislation has cleared its first major hurdle in the U.S. senate on a party-line vote. Against senate floor rules, applause after the tight 60 to 39 vote clearing the way for a historic debate on health care reform legislation. The bill is expected to hit the senate floor for debate after the thanksgiving break.
