I am from River Falls, WI and have been living downtown Minneapolis for nearly ten years prior to coming to Duluth. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2012 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
While in college, I interned at KARE 11-TV and WCCO-TV, which were both news oriented positions. Additionally, I interned with Clear Channel Radio/Cities 97 to learn what it’s like to work in radio. Prior to that, I interned at Lavender Magazine as an editor, photographer and writer. So in other words, I'm a pretty busy guy.
When I am not at work I love going to my family’s cabins in the Balsam Lake, WI area and in Grand Rapids, MN. I am also an artist! I work with a variety of mediums that range from oil paint and canvas to clay pottery and steel sculpting.
I have been vacationing here in Duluth for years and I am thrilled to be in such a beautiful place…and reporting the Northland’s top stories.
