We are now accepting applications for newsroom interns. Applicants should be juniors or seniors, majoring in journalism, mass communications or similar field. Candidates who have taken courses in television production and/or journalistic writing will be given first consideration. Our internships must be taken for college credit in consultation with your advisor. This is a 40 hour per week, hands-on opportunity to learn about television news from the inside, including interviewing, reporting, videography, editing and internet journalism. Many of our former interns are now working as professionals at stations all over the country.
