Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Minnesota Representative and Republican Michele Bachmann was declared the winner after a tight race to regain her seat in Congress.
Bachmann narrowly defeated Democratic challenger Jim Graves to begin her fourth term as the Minnesota 6th District Representative.
Precincts are reporting that Bachmann leads Graves by a vote of 178,959 to 175,207. The votes were a narrow margin of 50.39 percent to 49.33 percent.
The race between Bachmann and Graves was the second most expensive house race in the nation and also the most expensive race in Minnesota with Bachmann's campaign spending over 20 million dollars to secure her seat.
