St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Minnesota House of Representatives passed its Higher Education Omnibus Thursday.

The bill freezes tuition at both the University of Minnesota and the State's Colleges and University system.

It provides a $150 million funding increase for higher education, the first funding increase in eight years.
