St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - It's a second win in just a week for medical marijuana supporters.
The Minnesota Senate Judiciary Committee approved the measure late Wednesday afternoon in a voice vote.
The hearing featured emotional testimony from parents who claim medical marijuana will help their sick children.
Members of law enforcement, who oppose the measure, testified they support a study looking into the issue, recommended by Governor Mark Dayton.
The measure now heads to the Senate Finance committee without a recommendation from the Judiciary committee.
