Donna Bergstrom announces candidacy for MN 7A House Seat

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A fourth person has announced their intention to run for the District 7A seat currently held by the retiring Representative Tom Huntley (DFL-Duluth).

Donna Bergstrom, a retired Marine Corps Reserve Intelligence Officer and member of the Red Lake tribe, plans to run as a Republican.

For the past six months, Bergstrom has worked as a Guardian ad Litem for the Sixth Judicial District and formerly served on the Duluth American Indian Commission. She lives in Duluth's Lakeside neighborhood.

Bergstrom vows to be a voice of reason in the Minnesota House during economic uncertainty.

Bergstrom joins UMD professor Jennifer Schultz, At-Large Duluth City Councilor Linda Krug and Duluth Firefighter Pete Johnson in announcing their intentions.
