St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Governor Mark Dayton has appointed Minnesota's US Attorney to fill a vacancy in the Minnesota Supreme Court.
The Governor tapped David Lillehaug to replace Justice Paul Anderson who is retiring.
Lillehaug, a Minneapolis attorney, was appointed by President Clinton to be the US attorney for Minnesota.
He also served as Senator Al Franken's Chief Minnesota counsel in the 2008 ballot recount.
Justice Anderson will retire from the Bench at the end of May.
