Klobuchar sweeps victory in US Senate Race

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Very early on in the election results, NBC News declared Amy Klobuchar the winner for her re-election as Minnesota's U.S. Senator.

Senator Klobuchar pulled ahead early against Republican challenger Kurt Bills.

Klobuchar received 1,824,516 votes in a landslide win over Bills, who received 851,509 votes.

Senator Klobuchar pulled out ahead early against Bills and was declared the winner within minutes after the polls closed.

She wished her challenger all the best and said that he put on a good fight.
