St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Minnesota House lawmakers approved a $500 million tax cut bill Thursday in a 126-2 vote.

The bill provides relief to state taxpayers and repeals business to business sales taxes.

Rep. Jason Metsa (DFL-Virginia) & Rep. Ryan Winkler made up the 'no' votes.

"I think the remaining dollars we could have spent a little better on additional property tax relief and support for nursing homes and continuing to further restore Minnesota's commitment to our counties, cities and townships after a decade of funding cuts," Rep. Metsa said on the phone Thursday night.

The bill now heads to the Senate floor.
