Tampa, FL (Northland's NewsCenter) - Wisconsin Republicans are well represented at the Republican National Convention this week.
Speakers including Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan, Governor Scott Walker and Freshmen Republican Congressman Sean Duffy helped rally the crowds leading up Thursday night's main event.
Congressman Sean Duffy told the Northland's NewsCenter during a satellite interview Thursday the excitement isn't just about the politics at the convention, but the policies being discussed.
"There is a lot of excitement; there is a lot of energy, not only across all the states in the country, but specifically in Wisconsin," Rep. Duffy said. "People are excited because Paul Ryan has been picked as our Vice Presidential Candidate. There is a lot of enthusiasm."
During his speech on Tuesday, Congressmen Duffy said a vote for Romney/Ryan this November will ensure fiscal sanity and put Americans back to work.
The 7th District representative said, as a father of six, his biggest worry is that our children are losing their shot at the American dream.
