Madison, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Two bills, approved by Wisconsin Legislative committee on Thursday, made it tougher and more expensive for state residents to get an abortion.
The measures would prohibit religious organizations, religious employers, and religious institutions of higher education from contracting or providing abortion services of any kind.
This would include no insurance coverage for contraceptive use.
Anti–abortion groups in Wisconsin are continuing to push for more restrictions.
