Superior, WI (Northlands NewsCenter)
-- Wisconsin 7th District Congressional Candidate Pat Kreitlow spoke to students and staff at the University of Wisconsin-Superior Thursday.
The former state senator spoke about this economic plan for Northern Wisconsin, which includes slashing wasteful spending, reforming the federal tax code and investing in rural communities.
Kreitlow also accused his opponent, Congressman Sean Duffy, of adding nothing to a stagnate congress in Washington D.C.
"He's fallen right into line with the usual games and gridlock in Washington, that's why our recover is stuck in a rut and frankly we deserve better," said Kreitlow.
Congressman Duffy's office responded with a statement today saying he has passed more than 30 jobs bills, ended congressional insider trading and frozen congressional pay.
