Duluth police say a man who was arrested for allegedly selling meth last month has been arrested once again, this time for morphine possession.
The Duluth Police Department and Lake Superior Drug and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant Thursday evening at the home of Rodney Allen Sutherland on the 900 block of W. 5th St.
Sutherland was arrested and is awaiting charges on 5th degree possession of morphine pills.
This was the second search of Sutherlands home in the past two months, the first occurring on February 1st. Police say both searches also led to the discovery of stolen property in addition to evidence of drug distribution.
Following the February 1st search, Sutherland was arrested and charged with 3rd degree sale of methamphetamine.
Sutherland had posted $10,000 bail on those charges, and a trial is pending.
