Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Authorities have released the name of the woman who died in a car crash on I–35 near Esko.
Stephanie Tassone, 19, was was driving her Ford Escort yesterday morning heading south bound on I–35 when her vehicle spun out due to icy roads.
Tassone swerved into oncoming traffic where she was hit on the driver's side door by an Oldsmobile Aurora.
Troy and Justine Miller of Cloquet, the driver and passenger of the Olds Aurora, were treated for their injuries and then released.
Stephanie was in the class of 2010 at Esko High School.
As of recently, she was working as a server at the Applebee's in Cloquet.
She leaves behind her mother and three siblings.
