International Falls, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- At least one person was airlifted to a hospital in Duluth after two cars crashed near International Falls Friday afternoon.
Authorities say that a 1989 Ford Pickup was traveling westbound on Highway 11 and was attempting to make a left turn onto Town Road, when a 2005 Ford Mustang rear ended the pickup causing severe damage to both vehicles.
14-year-old Lerin Pearson was taken to the hospital in Duluth.
Her parents, Michael and April Pearson were treated and released for their injuries.
The driver of the Mustang, Alexander Henningsen,18, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
