Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Twin Ports continues to grow as a hub for the aviation industry with the announcement that AAR, an airplane maintenance corporation, is moving into the old Northwest Airlines hanger in Duluth.
Mayor Don Ness announced today at City Hall in that AAR is moving into the old hanger and will bring up to 225 jobs the Duluth.
Danny Martinez, the Vice President of the AAR Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Group signed a letter of intent to expand ARR's maintenance operation to Duluth.
The Duluth Economic Development Authority and AAR have been in negotiations since last summer for the airplane maintenance corporation to move into the old hanger.
