Hill City, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect involved in the robbery of the Woodland Bank in Hill City, MN, located about 15 miles south of Grand Rapids.
On Monday, June 25th, around noon, a man entered the Woodland Back and approached the teller counter with a handgun pointed at the bank employees, demanding cash.
The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and then fled from the bank.
The robber was described as a white male, who was approximately 6’2” in height and having a muscular build. The robber wore a black baseball cap, with a yellow and black “Batman” emblem. He also wore a white, long sleeve shirt, khaki pants, sunglasses, and he wore a bandana over his face.
A car that was believed to be stolen by the suspect was recovered a few miles outside Hill City.
Crimestoppers is offering a reward for any information regarding this robbery. Anyone with any information regarding this robbery should contact the FBI or the Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office.
