Cloquet, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A Cloquet woman has been sentenced to 23 years behind bars for her involvement in the murder of two people back in 2011.
26 year old Rachel Defoe, the accused accomplice in the murder, was sentenced to 23 years at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee after she plead guilty to second degree murder for aiding and abetting in the killings of Thomas Holm and Kim Schmitz.
Defoe was given about one and a half years credit for time already served behind bars.
Joshua Martineau, who has already been sentenced for the double murder, will spend 40 years behind bars after he plead guilty in March to two counts of unintentional second degree murder for shooting Thomas Holm and Kim Schmitz after a supposed dispute over a 50 dollar bag of marijuana in January of 2011.
