Duluth Police Searching for Possible Suspects in Home Invasion

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- According to authorities, police were called to a residence in the 500 block of East 8th Street, where the 48–year–old homeowner returned to his home and found two unknown men inside.

According to reports, when the owner ordered them to leave, one of the suspects allegedly turned with something in his hand.

The homeowner allegedly fired one round from his handgun at the suspects, and both men fled immediately after.

It is unclear whether either suspect was hit, or if either was armed.

Neither suspect has been located as of yet.

The suspects are described as follows:

1) Black male, medium complexion, 20-30 years old, 5’6” 150 pounds, short hair, wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans.

2) Black male, medium complexion, 20-30 years old, 5’10” 175 pounds, short hair and sideburns, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Duluth Police Department Violent Crimes Unit at (218) 730-5050. The investigation is continuing and no further information is available at this time.
