Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A 38-year old woman is facing charges of concealing identity and disorderly conduct after a bizarre incident Monday morning.
Police say the woman walked into the main branch of the Duluth Post Office on West Michigan street wearing a gas mask, carrying a duffel bag and a box.
The police were called to the scene and quickly arrested the woman. A Hazmat team was also called in from Crow Wing County to inspect the package the woman had with her.
Police closed the post office for a portion of the day as the investigation continued. It reopened late in the afternoon. Authorities say the public was not in any danger.
It is up to the City Attorney now to decide if formal charges should be filed.
