Hibbing, MN (Northlands NewsCenter) -- The Iron Range man who went on a shooting spree at a Chisholm bar in 2010 killing one man and wounding two others has pleaded guilty to first and second degree murder.
Jason Mark Musburger's jury trial was supposed to start on March 19th, but that ends with today's guilty plea to first degree premeditated murder and second degree murder with intent.
Back in 2010, Musburger, a former Chisholm police officer, walked into Jim Sports Club Bar and Grill in Chisholm and opened fire.
Ed Walberg, who was sitting on a bar stool, was shot to death, while two others, Cale Nelson and Larry Elj were wounded in the gun fire.
Nelson underwent several surgeries for his wounds.
Elj was treated and released.
Musburger's sentencing is scheduled for April 5th.
