Walker, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Four juveniles have been taken into custody following an alleged altercation at the Walker High School in Walker, MN.
According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, authorities received a request for assistance from the Walker High School due to an altercation that occurred on Wednesday, October 10th.
Upon arrival, officers say they found students involved in disruptive behavior resulting from an altercation at the school.
Authorities say that one officer was allegedly assaulted during the incident.
Four juveniles were taken into custody and formal charges are pending.
No staff or students were injured during the incident.
This altercation remains under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
Law enforcement is working with the school to ensure the safety of the students and faculty.
Officers from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Walker Police Department, Leech Lake Tribal Police, Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, MN State Patrol and MN DNR responded to the scene.
