Pleasant Prairie, WI (NNCNOW.com)--Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker signed the state's biennial budget into law on Sunday that will go into effect in the next fiscal year.

According to a news release, the budget provides nearly $1 billion in tax relief and the largest income tax cut in 14 years. People making between $15,000 and $50,000 will get the largest income tax rate reduction.

The budget also invests $322 million in the public school system and provides the first two year tuition freeze for the University of Wisconsin system since 1971.
