Long Lake Drowning Victim Identified

Long Lake, Cass County (Northland's NewsCenter) -- The Long Lake drowning victim has been identified.

The victim has been identified as Norman John Wolf, age 55, of Walker, MN.

Deputies received a call at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night of an overdue male party who had gone snorkeling on Long Lake; the lake is located 1 mile northeast of Longville, Minn.

After a brief search, a 55-year-old Walker man was located at the lake and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.

The case remains under investigation and an autopsy is pending.
