Longville, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A Longville man accused of stabbing and killing another man has been charged.
Frank Jesse LaRose, 23, has been charged with 2nd degree intentional murder.
The criminal complaint alleges that LaRose stabbed James Raymond Elmberg, 31, in the chest during a party Sunday at a home near Longville.
When Cass County Sheriff Officers arrived, they found Elmberg laying on the floor and transported him to a local hospital here he later died.
Officers learned that LaRose became agitated and paranoid throughout the evening and started arguing with Elmberg.
Witnesses saw LaRose approach the victim and stab him with a knife.
He fled the scene and was arrested by officers several hours later.
Bail is set at $500,000. LaRose could face up to 40 years in prison.
