72-year-old Gene Arthur Berthiaume of St Paul was found under his deer stand by members of his hunting party.

Authorities say it seems Berthiaume was the victim of an apparent fall.
Berthiaume was pronounced dead at the scene.

County deputies are continuing their investigation into the cause and manner of death in the accident.

The sheriff's office was assisted by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources officials, Blackduck ambulance and Kelliher first responders.

The St. Louis County Rescue Squad was able to locate two hunters from two separate parties after they went missing this weekend.

36-year-old Jason William Hahn of Grand Rapids was hunting with a friend and failed to return to where their vehicle was parked, just north of Orr.

The St Louis County Rescue Squad was paged, but while in route to locate Hahn, he was found by members of his party.

In a separate incident north of Babbitt, 18-year-old Kenneth Bertel Wilson of Ham Lake called 911 from his cell phone after walking for two hours.

He told the dispatcher he was lost and had only a light jacket and no matches.

The St. Louis County Rescue Squad found him about two and half hours later.

Wilson had no medical problems and returned home with other family members who were on scene.
