St. Cloud, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A second man has been charged in connection with the death of 28 year old Joshua Eric Defoe-Olson.

Joshua Lee Littlewolf, 41, spent his first day in court where he was charged with 2nd degree murder and 2nd degree assault. Littlewolf's bail has been set at $400,000. Littlewolf could spend 40 years behind bars if found guilty.

Littlewolf was found in St. Cloud by authorities during an investigation into a call to dispatch. The investigation was not for Littlewolf, however officers were able to identify him as a wanted man in St. Louis County and arrested him.

37 year old Nakota Benjamin was charged earlier this week with 2nd degree murder for this alleged involvement in the stabbing of Olson.

According to Benjamin's criminal complaint, on Friday, April 27th at 8:22 in the morning, Duluth Police took a report of a dead body.

Benjamin made the call, telling the dispatch that he didn't commit the crime.

When officers arrived, Benjamin was seen walking around the apartment where a body was on the ground with a significant amount of blood in the head, neck and shoulder area.

The victim was identified as Joshua Olson.

Police interviewed Wesley Jones, who in the complaint says that Olson, Benjamin and Joshua Littlewolf had a confrontation and saw Littlewolf retrieve a knife and stab Olson.

Other witnesses in the complaint say that Benjamin was the one that stabbed Olson.

Surveillance video shows Benjamin leaving the Skinner Apartments at 3:07 a.m. wearing a backpack that has not been recovered.

Littlewolf's next court appearance is scheduled for May 23rd.
