Virginia, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) Virginia's police chief has been terminated.
In the middle of the second day of a civil trial to determine if the city had the right to fire Chief Dana Waldron the judge put the trial on hold while both sides went behind closed doors.
When they emerged they announced a unanimous decision to offer Waldron a separation agreement.
The agreement is said to be basically the same pact that was offered to Waldron at the end of May.
It includes a payment of $57,000 and continued health insurance benefits.
If Waldon accepts the agreement he will never be allowed to work for the city of Virginia again.
