Duluth, MN (Northland’s NewsCenter) --- The man wanted for attempted murder in connection to the stabbing of a 17-year -old girl in Duluth's Central Hillside last Saturday night has voluntarily turned himself in to to authorities.
Donald Lacquier-Jackson was arrested without incident by Duluth Police on Lake Avenue and 5th Street just before 10 Friday night.
The 25-year-old is now in Saint Louis County Jail and faces two counts of 2nd Degree Attempted Murder, two counts of 1st Degree Assault, and two counts of 2nd Degree Assault with a dangerous weapon.
The incident happened last weekend on the 10 block of East 5th Street, and Police do believe it to be gang related.
The 17-year-old victim was transported to St. Luke's Hospital and treated for a stab wound in her chest and a head injury.
St. Louis County has also charged 17-year-old Norman Wayne Cutbank III in connection with this case. He's facing charges of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree assault.
Another victim, an 18-year-old man, was also hit in the head with a bat at the scene.
Police are still investigating the incident.
