Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Superior and Duluth Police have arrested a suspect in a string of daytime burglaries in Superior.
Police arrested Joseph Bluege Greene, 23, in a residential area in Duluth just before noon.
Superior Police observed a vehicle with a passenger they believed to be Greene in Duluth.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 1705 E. 2nd St. and arrested Greene with the assistance of Duluth Police. Seven Duluth Police Department squad cars were on scene.
The Douglas County Court issued a warrant yesterday for the arrest of Greene in connection with the burglaries.
The warrant charges Greene with five felony counts of burglary, one felony count of attempted burglary, and misdemeanor counts of theft and criminal damage to property.
Greene will be held in the St. Louis County Jail pending extradition to Douglas County.
