Lawrence, KS (Northland's NewsCenter) - The Virginia man at the center of a kidnapping case is being sought as a person of interest in a bank robbery in Kansas City.
The Virginia Police Department was contacted by the FBI Thursday saying a man, matching the description of Timothy Caskey, entered a bank on July 15th and handed the teller a note demanding money.
The FBI says he never displayed a weapon and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. He was seen leaving in an older red pickup truck occupied by a female passenger.
The man was described as being in his 30s to 40s, 6' tall with a thin-build.
Caskey was charged this week with kidnapping his estranged wife, Roberta Caskey, earlier this month.
Police ask if you have any information on the whereabouts of Timothy or Roberta Caskey to call 911.
Timothy is considered armed and dangerous.
