Cloquet, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Two men have been arrested in connection with burglary during which $30,000 in jewelry and merchandise was stolen.
Cloquet Police responded to a report of a burglary on Oct. 24th at a home on 14th St. in Cloquet.
The homeowner reported that about $30,000 in jewelry and merchandise was taken from the home.
Police executed a search warrant at a Cloquet home Monday, and arrested two men and recovered a large amount of jewelry that was stolen.
David Michael Smith, 50, of Cloquet was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $20,000 bail.
The other man will be formally charged Thursday.
