Duluth Township, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A day of summer fun turned deadly when a young Northland boy drowned in an inflatable pool.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says the one and a half year old boy appears to have climbed a ladder and entered the pool unnoticed at a Duluth Township home.
Family members and First responders attempted CPR after discovering what had happened just after 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
The boy was taken to St. Luke's where he was pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
