The Eyes Forward Safe Driving Campaign has a particular focus on Northland area youth, with the idea that reaching teens while they are just beginning to drive we are able to encourage life-long safe driving habits.

The campaign includes a series of pledge drives that are being scheduled at area high schools during the month of October.
Teen leadership groups are organizing their own pledge drives with the help of the Eyes Forward Safe Driving Campaign. The teens will schedule and man the pledge drives, while the EFSDC provides the pledge forms and chartreuse wristbands carrying the : fwd logo as an ongoing reminder to those who pledge.

The EFSDC has ten thousand : fwd wristbands to distribute throughout the Northland. If your school is unable to hold a pledge drive, you can still pledge online. Then, beginning September 28th and until supplies last, you can take your pledge form to one of 5 area Papa Murphy’s to redeem it for one of the : fwd wristbands.
Please contact Jeanne Filkins at 218-529-7768 to learn how your high school can get involved.

The Eyes Forward Safe Driving Campaign is brought to you by: Essentia Health, Otis Magie Insurance Agency, Krenzen, Papa Murphy’s and The Northland’s NewsCenter.
