How to "Let the Whole World Know" What You're All About

By KBJR News 1

Carol Willoughby has always been artistic... which inspired her to develop her own business.

"It all started with a dream a literal dream that I was going to have a business and that dream came in 1974," says Carol.

Ten years later that dream became a reality when Carol launched "Let the Whole World Know"... which creates signs and banners for large corporations, small businesses, and major events.

"We work locally with SMDC, Grandmas Marathon, and the police department," says Carol.

But Carol started out small with her dream... and debuted "Let the Whole World Know" at the Wedding Show at the DECC in the 1980s.

But in order to get a booth at the event she negotiated with organizers to make the banners for the show.

"I had no money to go into the show so I asked the man that was putting the show on if we could barder," says Carol.

Now Carol's business has expanded to making vehicle graphics, engraved signs, and magnetics.

Yet, at times the work can get to be too much.

"If we can't do it ourselves then we specifically try to find other venders who are in the Northland that we can work with," says Carol.

Twenty years have already flown by since Carol first opened her doors... and she continues to love every minute of it.

"It's a dream come true for me," says Carol.
