Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth is being put to the test this week as it conducts its readiness inspection.
The 148th is taking part in-real world scenarios ranging from simulated missile and chemical attacks to general military operations.
The Air Combat Command's Inspector General is getting a firsthand look at how well the Bulldogs are prepared for combat.
This latest round comes on the heels of sequester-related furloughs at the base.
The base earned an excellent rating during its inspection three years ago.
