St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Governor Mark Dayton has signed a tax conformity bill that calls for a shakeup of the Iron Range Resources Rehabilitation Board.

The legislation calls for the five house members and three senators to make up the IRRRB.

The legislation, proposed by Representative Carly Melin, was amended by the Senate to include a fourth senator to be appointed by committee, a move that received push back from the Range Delegation on the House floor on Monday.

It also removes three citizen positions from the board.

The Governor says the overall bill aims to provide fairer and simple taxes for 250,000 Minnesotan teachers, homeowners, college students and senior citizens
