Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Some might call them crazy, but then again, maybe they just know how to have fun.
This year's Duluth Polar Bear Plunge drew in over a thousand people from across Minnesota and Wisconsin to brave the freezing temperatures of Lake Superior along Canal Park.
This is just one of 16 such polar plunges happening across Minnesota for the next two months in order to raise money for Special Olympics Minnesota athletes.
Event coordinators are hoping to raise about $200,000 from this year's polar plunge in Duluth.
