Milaca, MN (NNCNow.com) --- Mille Lacs County Sherriff’s Deputy, Aaron Joseph Heuer, faces charges related to allegations involving children.
Otter Tail County District Court charged Heuer, 29, of Isle on Tuesday.
Heuer has been charged with four counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of second degree criminal conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, Heuer inappropriately touched the four male victims, ages 8-10 years old, and instructed them to have sexual contact with him.
Police say it happened in June when Heuer was volunteering as a fishing guide at Lutheran Island Camp in Henning, Minnesota.
Additional incidents are alleged to have occurred on a separate fishing trip in Aitkin County with two of the victims, which was unrelated to the camp.
Deputy Heuer has been placed on administrative leave from the Mille Lacs County Sherriff’s Office and is currently being held at the Otter Tail County Jail.
Heuer has been with Mille Lacs County Sherriff’s Office for 6 years.
