Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Bail has been set for a teenager that authorities say led police on a high-speed chase through Itasca County on the 4th of July.
The 17-year-old boy appeared in court Wednesday where he waived his right to a probable cause hearing.
The teen is facing a number of felonies in connection with the incident, including three felony counts of use of deadly force against a peace officer.
A Grand Rapids officer, who fired a shot to stop the chase, was cleared of any wrong-doing this week.
The Itasca County Attorney's Office has filed a motion to try the suspect as an adult.
Bail was set at $25,000.
