The ninth annual women rock fundraiser kicked off today.
The power of pink helped to raise funds in the fight against breast cancer.
Hundreds of pink–clad guests from around the area came to Spirit Mountain in Duluth to show their support for the cause with music and dancing.
Those looking for a change of pace from rocking out could enjoy a day of pampering, silent auction or just peruse the dozens of vendor booths on site.
Those affected by breast cancer were motivated to raise awareness.
"My step–mother is a breast cancer survivor. I have my moms signature and all the volunteers have been with me for a very long time. They're friends, family, and they have been here just as many years as I have and every year like clockwork they're here and I can count on them all the time," says volunteer coordinator Courtney Kile.
Those in attendance could also stand up to breast cancer by sitting down in one of the many rocking recliners.
Attendees call it, Rockin' for a Reason".
