Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - An accomplice in the murder of a Floodwood woman learned her punishment inside a courtroom today.
Alyssa Peterson, 25, pleaded guilty to aiding an offender after the fact, a felony.
Peterson was sentenced to five years' probation.
She has already spent 194 days in the Carlton County jail.
Peterson is the girlfriend of the man convicted of murdering Christyna Watson in 2012.
Watson was brutally beaten to death by Michael Siewert on a property on the Fond du Lac Reservation.
Siewert was sentenced to 30 years behind bars.
