Dultuh, MN (NNCNOW.com) - An arson sign has been posted near the historic stone pavilion in Lincoln Park Saturday after a fire caused thousands of dollars in damage to the structure early Saturday morning.

The Duluth Fire Department responded to the park just after midnight Saturday morning on reports of a portable toilet on fire.

By the time crews arrived on scene, the fire had spread to the nearby stone pavilion building's combustible roof. Crews forced entry, and the fire was extinguished.

Most of the damage is limited to the east end of the roof, and initial estimates put the cost at $75,000

The Duluth Fire Marshal's office has determined the cause of the fire to be incendiary.

Anyone with information is urged to call Duluth Police, or the Fire Marshal.
