St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - There is strong evidence tonight a shooting death in an Ashland Motel Room is connected with yet another killing in Sauk Rapids Minnesota.

A criminal complaint filed in Minnesota's Benton County against Angelina Mae Omara ties the Ashland death to the death of James Omara in Sauk Rapids.

The body of 36 year old Michael Pies was discovered Wednesday at Anderson's Chequamegon Motel.

He had been shot in the head.

The body of Omara's ex-husband, James was discovered in his apartment on Tuesday.

Both Pies and Omara were found with pillows covering what appeared to be gunshot wounds to their heads.

Angelina Mae Omara was arrested in South Dakota on Thursday.
She has been charged with second degree murder in connection with the death of her ex-husband in Sauk Rapids.

Charges have not yet been brought in connection with the shooting death of Michael Pies in Ashland.
