Update: Missing Duluth Teen Found Safe

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth Police say they have called off a search for an 18-year-old Duluth woman who had previously been reported missing.

Elizabeth Genevieve Swanson notified the police that she is safe and not in any danger.

She had been reported missing by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and a Facebook effort to find her had been launched.

Swanson was last seen on May 6th, 2013. Police considered her an endangered missing person and may be in the company of a 21 year old man. Authorities believed she may be in Superior, WI.

Swanson is about 5' 3'' tall, weighs 115 pounds and has black hair, brown eyes and an olive skin tone. She also has a circular scar on her right bicep.

Swanson was last seen waring a purple/pink plaid jacket and white Nike tennis shoes.
