Authorities investigating early morning garage fire in Duluth

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities are looking into what sparked a garage fire in Duluth early this morning.

Fire crews were called to the report of flames coming from a garage off North Central Avenue around four this morning.

Responding officers say they found a single car garage engulfed in flames with a car inside, however were able to knock the fire down quickly.

No one was injured in the incident. It also appeared that no one was home at the time of the fire. Authorities say damages are estimated at $22,000. It is unknown if the property owner is insured.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Duluth Fire Marshal.
