Bemidji, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on a possible suspect involved in a stabbing at a house in Bemidji, MN.

On Sunday, authorities were called to intercept a vehicle transporting a stabbing victim to the Sanford Hospital. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported 18 year old Jace Jeffrey Ugrich of Bovey, MN to the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

An initial investigation revealed that Ugrich had been stabbed at a large party on property owned by the Theta Tau Epsilon Fraternity Alumni Corporation on Hensel Drive NE in Frohn Township. Authorities say Ugrich was attempting to intervene in a brawl between two men when an unknown suspect came up from behind and stabbed Ugrich in the back.

The Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to identify the stabbing suspect.

Investigators are also trying to find two persons of interest. One is described as a white man between 5' 11'' and 6' tall with a skinny build, wearing a dark sweatshirt and a black baseball cap with the word "Dope" in a light color on the front.

The other person of interest is described as a white man, between 5' 11'' and 6' tall with light colored hair, wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office.
