Leader, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- One man appeared in court Monday on charges relating to an extensive marijuana growing operation in Cass County.
57–year–old George Morcomb was arrested at a Cass County house Friday and faces felony charges for possession of a pistol and a large amount of marijuana.
Authorities found more than a hundred marijuana plants in and around the detached garage of his home in the Wilderness Park Area.
They also found lights, fertilizers and other items that support marijuana growth along with a firearm and some methamphetamine.
Morcomb, whose bail is set at $100,000, told police that another person was staying in the R.V. for eight weeks on his property, which is where police found hypodermic needles and a silver spoon with a white substance on it.
42-year-old Larry Berg was arrested a short time later. Charges against him are pending.
