Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Beach goers are still being advised not to go into the water at the Minnesota Point 15th Street beach and the Hearding Island Canal Beach due to elevated E. coli levels.
Samples from the beach indicate that there could be fecal contamination in the water around these beaches and advise people not to enter the water to prevent illness.
If you do become sick after contact with the water on these beaches, please call the Minnesota Department of Health.
The water at these beaches will be resampled on Monday, June 18th.
